I recently photographed Christina and Daniel on the Upper West Side (Lincoln Center Area). This soon-to-be wedded couple will be getting married this October!
Christina and Daniel met through mutual friends (2 couples) the night one of the couples got engaged. It was at a one day festival called “You’re so lucky”. That night the six of them got “Yes” tattooed on our fingers. Christina didn’t imagine 3 years later she’d be saying Yes!
Daniel went above and beyond for his proposal. It happened at the House of Yes in Brooklyn (how appropriate!), their favorite club. They went with several friends that night to watch one of their amazing shows.
After the second act one of the actors dropped the mic, and Daniel proceeded to pick it up. He then got on stage and asked Christina to join him! “I almost passed out!” she says. After a beautiful speech, he asked Christina to marry him, and of course she said.. YES!
What a sweet story!
Christina says “I’m most excited about is marrying my best friend, and celebrating with our closest family and friends. I’m also pretty excited about saying Yes to the dress!”
They are getting married at The GreenTree in New Rochelle, hopefully outside by the water. The reception to follow inside.
I know it’s going to be a gorgeous wedding!
Future wedding details aside, let’s get to the present: Christina and Daniel’s engagement session! These two are real naturals in front of the camera. Their good looks, fabulous outfit choices, a sublime location and their genuine love for each other made this photo shoot a truly enjoyable experience!
Daniel and Christina clearly love to complement each other when we dress up. This engagement shoot was the perfect opportunity to dress their best!
Christina said ” I wore a baby pink off the shoulder, calf length bodycon dress with navy-blue pumps (with baby pink flower accents); accessorized with my great aunts pearl necklace. Daniel wore a navy-blue suit, white shirt and a baby pink and blue plaid tie.” Maybe they follow some tips from our What to wear guide 🙂
Here are some words of advice from Christina about their engagement session: “Definitely have fun with it! Put thought into what you wear, dress for the occasion! Be open for walking around a bit. Roberto has a great eye for different use of lighting, focus and reflections to get that amazing shot!”
Here’s to many, many happy years together!
