Let’s all give it up for one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever seen: Amanda and Pedro.

They met through Bumble!

Pedro filled me in on the proposal on the Brooklyn Bridge!… he says ”we weren’t able to go away anywhere as I was coaching in the middle of my soccer season. I know how important Brooklyn is to her and there isn’t a better place than the bridge. It was also our first time on the bridge together.”

Of course, she said Y-E-S!

Their wedding date is set for July 17. They will be getting married at the beautiful Our Lady of Mount Carmel Annunciation Church in Williamsburg, and their reception will be at at La Nonna Ristorante/Crest Hardware Garden Center. Crest is special to Amanda as it is the Hardware store that her father opened in 1962. He has since been gone for three years now and it will give Amanda the ability to be closer to him on their special day. 

The biggest thing that matters to Amanda and Pedro about their upcoming wedding is the fact that they both feel truly blessed to have found one another. During these difficult times they realized that nothing in life is guaranteed and tomorrow is not promised. They are both excited to move forward in their lives together with their family and loved ones that support their love. They said… “The most important part of that day is seeing each other down that aisle.”

For the engagement session they were looking for a casual/comfortable look (read what to wear for your session), and want to catch how they have shared their time together in quarantine during this pandemic. Pizza hint hint…

These are some of the tips and advice for other couples they shared: “We are extremely glad to be able to have the engagement shoot to help us both feel comfortable with one another in front of the camera and prepare us for our wedding day. Pedro’s separate advice ‘a shot of tequila always helps’
