Hi! I’m Carol Guedes, the founder and creative mind behind FLYING LITTLE BIRDS. I’m originally from Brazil, lived in Europe for four years, and since 2006, I call Brooklyn Heights my home where I am raising my family.
Before I joined the creative world of events and weddings, I worked on Strategic, Marketing, and Finance Planning for international corporations. After my passage through Parsons School of Design and as I became a mom, I truly embraced my creativeness and launched
Flying Little Birds back in 2012.
My design style is based on two simple concepts: “Less is always more” and “Love is in the details”.
I love celebrating life, and it does make all the sense to celebrate life every day in my work!
I am inspired by the infinite view of the ocean, delicacy of flowers, family moments, adventurous vacations, and of course the streets of NYC!
My daughters are my Flying Little Birds, and I want them to fly high! I love celebrations and believe that life is filled with magical moments to be shared with our beloved ones. My previous planning expertise in the corporate career, aligned with my passage through Parsons School of Design and diverse floral design courses gave me the perfect foundation to plan each detail of a wedding day and execute thoughtful designs for each couple. My design style is based on two simple concepts: “Less is always more” and “Love is shown by small details”.
