Firefly Events is a luxury wedding and event planning and design company. We take care of all the logistics and work with you to design an event that’s beautiful, innovative, and highly personal. Our offices are located in New York, California, and Wyoming and we are available for travel worldwide!
As designers, we draw inspiration from the past, present and future, from art, fashion, travel, and the dynamic cities we call home! We love unstructured organic design as much as clean lines and modern décor, but what we really love is creating a unique combination of these sensibilities in order to produce weddings & events that bring our client’s individual style to the forefront.
As planners, our goal is to alleviate the stress and frustration that often accompany wedding & event planning. We deal with all of the scheduling, logistics, paperwork, emails, phone calls and everything in between so you don’t have to. We offer our clients a space to laugh, smile, feel inspired, and enjoy every moment of the planning process as well as their big day.
About
Teissia Treynet started Firefly in 2009 out of her studio apt in Los Angeles, CA. In 2011 she opened the NY office and brought on seasoned New Yorker, Alia Wilson . Their mutual love of beauty, design, list making, organization, and amazing parties have earned them top planner titles from Vogue, Harper’s BAZAAR, Martha Stewart, Brides, and The Knot. T+A, as they are loving referred to by friends and colleagues, travel between the three Firefly locales, but are happy to call Northern and Southern CA home for the time being. Alia resides in NorCal with her wonderful husband and two sons while Teissia lives a beach life in SoCal with her adventurous husband (you can check out their wedding here!). Together T+A have created hundreds of innovative weddings and events and are currently working on their most exciting event yet- The Firefly Method. When they aren’t traveling the world producing events or creating content for their online programs, Teissia can be found mountain biking, snowboarding, or drinking a spicy margarita with friends, and Alia can be found on a forest hike with her family or sipping a gin and tonic and listening to podcasts.
