Castle Hotel and Spa is not your ordinary castle. It comes with a great and intriguing history, therefore, the town of Tarrytown designated the castle as a historic landmark in 1981. 

The castle was originally built just before the turn of the 20th century as a residential property. Louis XIV presented the house to James II, the King of England, before he fled to France. Rumor has it that years later, Prince Charles Edward, grandson of James II, plotted the uprising of 1745 to overthrow the German King in the same castle.

Over the years, several other historical events took place at the spectacular castle until it was transformed into a lavish hotel in 1996. Consequently, today, couples can enjoy the royal experience.

The library is suitable for more intimate gatherings or pre-wedding parties. It contains rich Mahogany bookcases and a dramatic Neo-Classical style. The charm and beauty of this private space remain unmatched. The library can accommodate up to 40 guests.
