It is always fun to see new faces at a wedding, but when you see familiar faces you have a different connection and it feels like you are closer to the family.
I had met with Leslie and Steve more than a year ago to discuss their plans for their wedding and at the meeting I mentioned how much I like to travel and do destination weddings. Before I knew it, Leslie had booked me for her wedding and signed me up for her brother Will’s wedding as well 😉
So this was the second wedding from the family that I photographed. It was so nice to see the same people I met in Mexico last year.
If you have read my blog before, you probably already know that I have this “thing” with mirrors… (and umbrellas ;)). While Leslie was getting ready in a room at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens and I spotted a mirror and I just started thinking of what cool things we could do with it… so we took the mirror for a ride.
